Date: January 6th 2009

Dear
I am writing to everyone in the congregation at St Mary's with an invitation to come to a service which will be broadcast live from the Cathedral.
On Sunday 18 January, the early service on that day will be a choral service of Morning Prayer and will be broadcast on Radio 4 at 0810.
If you would like to be there, please make sure that you are seated by 0745.
There will be breakfast after the service and it would be useful to know rough numbers of those attending. If you know you are going to be there (and are not in the choir, whose numbers will be counted seperately) then could you let Alistair Fulton in the office office@thecathedral.org.uk or 0141 339 6691 know. [Please reply during the week and not to Alistair in person on a Sunday, if you can]
I always find the broadcast services fun to do and one of the reasons that the BBC like to come to St Mary's is that we can generally get a congregation out early in the morning for it.
Could I also remind you of the current consultation going on within the congregation. I've extended the deadline for replies to Sunday 11 January, so there is still time to reply, if you have not already done so. (And if you have already replied, many thanks).
I've attached a copy of the Consulation Document to this e-mail as a pdf file and it is also available with a response form on the Cathedral website at:

Best regards
KELVIN
Provost and Rector
